What is the CHIPPEWA VALLEY HOME BUILDERS ASSOCIATION?

Our mission is to build a better area housing industry through promotion, advocacy and education.

The Chippewa Valley Home Builders Association (CVHBA) is a non-profit trade association representing the home building industry in the Chippewa Valley. As a membership-based organization, we serve members in all aspects of the home building and remodeling industry including: builders, subcontractors, financing, title work, marketing, insurance and other professional services. The CVHBA provides opportunities for members to build connections, market their business, and save money. In addition, the CVHBA is commited to connecting with area youth with opportunities in the skilled trades, advocating on home building and housing issues and being a resource for area homeowners.

Whether building a new home, remodeling an existing home or needing a home service, the CVHBA should be your first stop! If you aren't sure who to contact, our staff are happy to help you connect you to area businesses. All of our members go through an application process that includes reference checks, proof of business insurance and all Builder Members must have a Dwelling Contractor license. We can also answer questions and provide information for the public on a wide range of topics. Visit our blog for information on a variety of home projects.

  • "Being a member of the CVHBA has given our business a competitive edge by providing us access to the Parade of Homes and the Home and Garden Show.  Our business has grown significantly from the exposure that these two events have provided. Being a member has also been great for networking and building relationships with people and businesses that surround the housing industry in the Chippewa Valley.  I give credit to Lyman Lumber for encouraging me to become a member and would give the same advice to anyone that is considering joining."

  • "We've been members of the CVHBA since 2006 and feel that it has been an excellent resource for both promoting our business over the years and also getting to know other great businesses to work with in the Chippewa Valley.  The networking, continuing education and signature events put on by the Home Builder's Association are invaluable tools to our business, and we look forward to many more years of membership!"

  • "As a homebuilder and a longtime member of the Chippewa Valley Home Builders Association, I’ve seen the value of membership first hand. While there are many benefits with membership, including the Home & Garden Show and Parade of Homes, I especially like the networking opportunities such as 'Builder After Hours'."

    Mike Marthaler, Mike's Custom Homes

  • "The CVHBA always takes the lead on issues that affect housing affordability, through direct action and advocacy. There is none other than the CVHBA with the experience, knowledge, and credibility that is as active and engaged. Our membership takes pride in having one unified voice for the thousands of people, jobs, and families that we represent on housing issues."

    Greg Haselwander, Haselwander Companies Inc

  • “Being a member of the CVHBA connects my company with others across the entire building industry.  The relationships formed by actively participating in events and committees has resulted in growth, both personally as well as professionally.  It’s great working together with a group that is motivated to improve our industry, both locally as well as nationally.”
