Our mission is to build a better area housing industry through promotion, advocacy and education.
The Chippewa Valley Home Builders Association (CVHBA) is a non-profit trade association representing the home building industry in the Chippewa Valley. Our focus is two-fold - we provide resources for homeowners looking for assistance in their next home project and we provide resources for our member businesses to grow and enhance their business.
Whether building a new home, remodeling an existing home or needing a home service, the CVHBA should be your first stop! All of our members go through an application process that includes reference checks, proof of business insurance and all Builder Members must have a Dwelling Contractor license.

“Being a member of the CVHBA connects my company with others across the entire building industry. The relationships formed by actively participating in events and committees has resulted in growth, both personally as well as professionally. It’s great working together with a group that is motivated to improve our industry, both locally as well as nationally.”
Kevin Anderson, Lyman Lumber Company
"Being members of the CVHBA has been an amazing experience. Starting a new business is challenging, so joining CVHBA was and continues to be the best thing we could have done for our business. We truly believe without all of their help and opportunities, we wouldn’t be where we are today."

"We have been a Member of the CVHBA since 1982. Being a Member of the CVHBA offers numerous opportunities and venues like the Annual Home and Garden Show and Builders After Hours that encourages face to face marketing with potential clients and other business professionals in the Chippewa Valley. The CVHBA has been an invaluable resource that has helped our business grow over the years."
Ray Mueller, Erv Smith Services, Inc. & the Hearth Shoppe
"Being a member of the CVHBA has given our business a competitive edge by providing us access to the Parade of Homes and the Home and Garden Show. Our business has grown significantly from the exposure that these two events have provided. Being a member has also been great for networking and building relationships with people and businesses that surround the housing industry in the Chippewa Valley. I give credit to Lyman Lumber for encouraging me to become a member and would give the same advice to anyone that is considering joining."
