    Christina Thrun joined the Chippewa Valley Home Builders Association in March of 2015 from a career in non-profit fund development and marketing. Prior to this role, she was the Development & Marketing Director for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern Wisconsin where she more than doubled the net income of Bowl for Kids’ Sake. She also served as a Business Development Specialist for Western Dairyland’s Women’s Business Center assisting small businesses in creating business and marketing plans. Previously, Christina also taught part-time as a Sales and Marketing Adjunct Instructor for the Chippewa Valley Technical College and was a part-time Tax Preparer for H&R Block. Christina holds a Bachelors of Business Administration and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. In her free time, she enjoys teaching karate, competing in agility trials with her dog, Bella, and spending time at the family lakeplace in Northern Minnesota.

    Jen Humblet is a seasoned professional who joined our team as Membership Director in January of 2017. With more than 25 years of business ownership in Eau Claire, Jen has a passion for building customer relations. With marketing and public relations experience, as well as managing the daily operations of a business and staff, Jen understands some of the challenges that business members face when it comes to networking and marketing. Membership satisfaction is a priority and one of her goals is to connect with the members and help them to get the most out of their CVHBA membership. In her free time, Jen enjoys spending time with her husband and children as well as playing music, fishing and junkin’ at local auctions.

    Amy Gumz joined our team in January of 2016 and enjoys working for the CVHBA because no two days are the same. Amy earned a Medical Office Specialist Technical Diploma and an Administrative Assistant Associates Degree from Chippewa Valley Technical College. After working nearly a decade as a Medical Transcriptionist for Mayo Clinic, she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from University of Northwestern – St. Paul. Amy is married with one adult daughter. In her free time, Amy enjoys reading, volunteering at her church, watching “Jeopardy!” and one day hopes to build a tiny home.
