Meet Our Staff
Christina Thrun joined the Chippewa Valley Home Builders Association in March of 2015 from a career in non-profit fund development and marketing. Prior to this role, she was the Development & Marketing Director for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern Wisconsin where she more than doubled the net income of Bowl for Kids’ Sake. She also served as a Business Development Specialist for Western Dairyland’s Women’s Business Center assisting small businesses in creating business and marketing plans. Previously, Christina also taught part-time as a Sales and Marketing Adjunct Instructor for the Chippewa Valley Technical College and was a part-time Tax Preparer for H&R Block. Christina holds a Bachelors of Business Administration and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. In her free time, she enjoys teaching karate, competing in agility trials with her dog, Bella, and spending time at the family lakeplace in Northern Minnesota.

The Membership Coordinator position is responsible for coordinating all membership events and activities including: recruiting, mentoring program, member orientation, member retention activities, membership events (i.e. golf outing, Christmas Party, etc), and assists with marketing and public relations efforts. This position assists in administrative tasks associated with running the association and managing our tenant building. Duties include answering the phone, processing mail, calling members regarding outstanding invoices, assisting the public in finding the right member for their project, assisting members and the public with questions, projects for special events, and other duties as assigned.
