Meet Our Staff
Christina Thrun has served as the Executive Officer of the Chippewa Valley Home Builders Association since March of 2015. Her favorite part of the job is connecting with members at events and working with communities and local officials to advocate for the home building and remodeling industry. Prior to this role, she spent almost 8 years as the Development & Marketing Director for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern Wisconsin and 4 years as a Business Development Specialist for Western Dairyland’s Women’s Business Center. Christina also has experience as an Adjunct Instructor for the Chippewa Valley Technical College and was a part-time Tax Preparer for H&R Block. Christina holds a Bachelors of Business Administration and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her dog Bella-Rae, reading or listening to books, binging tv shows, teaching karate, running, boxing, spending time with family (especially her niece and nephews) and enjoying the family lakeplace in Northern Minnesota.
Christina Prestin has been with the Chippewa Valley Home Builders Association since September of 2021. Christina is passionate about building connections with members and the home building industry. Her favorite part of the job is connecting with the public through our events as well as planning the member events. Christina is a West Coast transplant who still hasn’t accepted these Wisconsin winters. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her 6 year old twins, exploring the Chippewa Valley and traveling.
Taylor Wilkins has been with the Chippewa Valley Home Builders Association since January of 2022. Taylor is passionate about connecting with members and marketing the association and its members throughout the Chippewa Valley. Her favorite part about her job is the interactions she is able to have with local students through CVHBA workforce development efforts at local schools and the Boys & Girls Club. Taylor is a graduate from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire and has a Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Strategic Communication with a minor in Graphic Design. When Taylor is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her puppy named Kitty, trying new restaurants and spending time with family and friends.
