A powerful voice for the home building industry

The Chippewa Valley Home Builders Association (CVHBA) invites you be a part of our member-driven association. Any business who is involved in the home building industry or wants to do business within the homebuilding industry is welcome to apply for membership as either a Builder Member or an Associate Member. Professionalism is important to the CVHBA and all of our members go through a screening process which includes a business reference check and must provide proof of insurance. 

BUILDER MEMBER

A Builder Member is a company that holds a Dwelling Contractor license and is engaged in the business of building or remodeling homes, multi-family units, schools, commercial buildings and other structures in the Chippewa Valley. The designated Member of Record* must hold a Dwelling Contractor Qualifier license.
Cost: $560 per year

ASSOCIATE MEMBER

An Associate member is a company that is engaged in a trade or profession related to building in the Chippewa Valley (i.e. insulation, painting, flooring, title work, financing, etc) or wants to do business within the building industry (i.e. printers & signage companies, insurance, retirement, etc). 
Cost: $560 per year

*The “Member of Record” is the main contact designated to receive all email & written communications, is listed in the directory as the contact person and is in charge of the CVHBA membership account. Any employees within a business can receive email communications, attend events and serve on committees.

We have an affordable Affiliate membership option for employees and/or co-owners.

AFFILIATE MEMBER

An Affiliate member is an employee of a Builder or Associate member company. An Affiliate member is listed in the directories, can chair a committee and will receive all mailed communications. If you are interested in an Affiliate Membership, please contact our office at 715-835-2526 or email info@cvhomebuilders.com for an application.

    We are committed to keeping our members up to date on government changes that affect you. We work hard at national, state and local levels to keep costs down and focus on regulations beneficial to the building industry.
  • Increase your knowledge and earn CEU's
    Get your Dwelling Contractor Qualifer (DCQ) CEU credits or expand your business knowledge at one of our educational seminars. We offer 6 CEU credit hours each year for the DCQ and offer other business-related courses each year to help you be successful in areas such as marketing, social media, risk management, legal, business planning, etc.
  • 3-in-1 Membership
    When you're a member of the CVHBA, you're also a member of the Wisconsin Builders Association (WBA) and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Many of the benefits described come directly from the WBA and NAHB.
